directions
The Animal Adoption Center is easily accessible by car and public
transportation. We are only about 20 minutes southeast of either the Ben
Franklin or Walt Whitman bridges, and a short walk from the Lindenwold
train station.
From Philadelphia (by car):
- Follow either 76 East (the Walt Whitman Bridge) or 676 East (the Ben
Franklin Bridge) to 295 North.
From 295:
- Take exit 29A (Route 30 South).
- Follow Route 30 South (the White Horse Pike) for approximately 3.5
miles.
- Move to the right to prepare for a cloverleaf turn just past the intersection
with White Horse Rd./Laurel Rd. (Route 673). You will see a Pep Boys
on your near right and a Checkers restaurant on the far right of this
intersection.
- Follow the cloverleaf around Checkers, continuing across Rte. 30 on
White Horse Rd.
- Take an immediate right at the first light onto Berlin Rd.
- Continue on Berlin Road for about 1/4 mile. (The parking lot for the
Lindenwold High Speed Line train station will be on your left most of
this time.) The entrance to the Animal Adoption Center will be on your
left.
By Public Transportation:
- Click to find more information on trains running on either the PATCO
Speedline (from Philadelphia and downtown Camden) or NJT's
Atlantic City Line (from Phila. to AC). NJ Transit also runs two
bus routes
which stop near the Center (nos. 403 and 459).
