Our Adoption Policies:

• Please visit the animals at the Center any day of the week (click here to view hours and directions in a new window).
• Whenever you're ready to adopt, we will ask you to fill out our adoption application (application for cat adoption || application for dog adoption– Adobe Acrobat Reader required).
• Please bring your veterinarian's name and phone number, if applicable, to call for a reference. If you do not have a vet, we require at least three personal references.
• If you rent your home, we must verify with your landlord that you are permitted to have animals.
• If any of your references are unavailable when we call, your application approval will be delayed until we are able to reach them.
• There may be additional provisions to adoption for some of our animals.
• If your application has been approved, you will be asked to sign the contract on the back of the application form. You will receive a copy of the contract, as well as documentation of your pet's shot records and known medical history.
• When you come to bring home your new friend, we ask that you come prepared with a leash and collar or pet carrier to transport your animal.
