Welcome to The Animal Adoption Center
a NO-Kill shelter for companion animals in Lindenwold NJ

Meet Our Dogs Meet Our Cats You Can Help Today!

The Animal Adoption Center located in Camden County is the only no-kill shelter in Camden County.

The Animal Adoption Center (AAC) is a 501c3, non-profit organization and survives solely on donations. We receive no county, state or federal funding of any kind. Since our inception in 1991, we have dedicated our time and hearts to helping animals find homes and loving families. The board of directors, staff and volunteers are comprised of a group of animal lovers, seeking to protect and provide for homeless dogs and cats. Though our resources are often limited, we cherish and nurture every cat and dog we take under our care and see they are adopted into loving forever homes. Until their forever match is made, we make sure they live in a caring and comfortable environment with no threat of ever being euthanized for space or because they ran out of time.
Happy Tails

“We found our sweet Nero living on borrowed time at a local kill shelter.
We simply fell in love with his face and gentle demeanor, and brought him to our Center just in time for Christmas! Nero become suddenly ill shortly after the holidays though, and we immediately rushed him to Red Bank Animal Hospital in Cherry Hill, NJ.
Nero was diagnosed with severe onset pneumonia and required a culture and lab test to properly diagnose his illness, IV antibiotics, nebulizer treatments and an extended stay at their 24 hour care facility.
The good news is that Nero is on the mend and recovering in the safe and loving foster home of one of the veterinarians who cared for him! The bad news is that Animal Adoption Center is left with a very hefty vet bill. As all our friends know, Animal Adoption Center is a No Kill facility that receives no governmental assistance - We exist only on the generosity of our donors.
While not giving up on our Big Boy is part of our No Kill mission, our emergency funds are completely depleted and we are still very short on our ability to pay this bill.
If you would like to see us be able to continue to help animals like Nero who would never have made it without Animal Adoption Center, please consider making a donation at http://www.gofundme.com/5ysnn0. No amount is too small and every dollar is greatly appreciated! On behalf of Nero and the volunteers and staff that love him, thank you!”
